  • Amazon Worker Emails Jeff Bezos About Missing Pay

An Amazon employee decided to skip the usual channels and write directly to Jeff Bezos about a pay problem. She did not expect her message to set off a broader review across the company.

At 61, Bezos ranks among the world’s wealthiest people, having grown Amazon from a garage startup into one of the most valuable companies on the planet.

A year before he handed the CEO role to Andy Jassy in July 2021, Bezos received an email from Tara Jones, a warehouse associate based in Oklahoma, laying out her payroll issue.

Jones was out on medical leave and expected a paycheck of $540. When it arrived, a significant portion was missing.

  • Tourist Warned They Could Cause ‘World-Changing’ Damage

A national park in New Mexico shared a surprising cautionary tale after a tourist left behind a bag of Cheetos inside one of its most sensitive environments. Rangers said the simple mistake could have led to “world-changing” effects inside the cave system.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park, nestled within the Guadalupe Mountains of southeastern New Mexico, is one of the country’s natural treasures. It’s home to more than 119 limestone caves, winding canyons, and unique wildlife like bats, cougars, and swallows. The park’s crown jewel, known as the Big Room, holds the record as North America’s largest cave chamber by volume — stretching nearly 4,000 feet long, 625 feet wide, and 255 feet tall.

Last year, park rangers used their official Facebook page to remind visitors about the importance of taking their trash home. Even a small piece of litter, they warned, can harm the ecosystem and threaten the animals that have lived in the caves for generations.

  • New Study Reveals Why A Can Of Diet Soda Might Be

That can of diet soda you grab for a guilt-free refreshment might not be as safe as it seems. A new study has revealed that low- or zero-sugar drinks could harm your health just as much as, or even more than, their sugary counterparts.

Many people love a fizzy drink with a meal or use diet versions as a way to cut calories while still enjoying a sweet taste. But new findings show that whether your drink is made with sugar or artificial sweeteners, it could still put your body at risk.

For fans of diet cola, sparkling lemonade, or even trendy “dirty sodas,” researchers now warn that both types of drinks could raise the risk of liver damage and other serious health issues.

At the UEG Week 2025 conference, scientists presented new evidence showing that both sugar-sweetened and diet sodas are linked to a greater risk of developing metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).

A 12-year-old soccer player is recovering from severe burns after a prank at his neighborhood park ended in a terrifying explosion. What started as a normal afternoon with friends quickly became a life-changing moment.

Lucas Baldock, a passionate futsal player from Mudgeeraba on the outskirts of Australia’s Gold Coast, was badly injured last Friday (September 26) when a deodorant can was set alight and suddenly exploded, leaving him covered in burns.

Family friend Carriae Sempf has launched a GoFundMe page to help Lucas and his family through his long recovery. In the campaign, she shared heartbreaking details of what happened to the young athlete and the extent of his injuries.

“A child at Lucas’ local park lit a deodorant can and called Lucas over,” she wrote.

“Lucas walked over unaware of what was going on. Another child threw something at the deodorant can. It exploded. Lucas is covered head to toe in burns.”

  • New Study Finds Many Women Would Rather Stay Single

A new study has revealed a surprising truth about modern dating — one factor, in particular, is turning potential love stories into dealbreakers before they even begin.

Everyone has their own “icks” when it comes to dating — those small habits or quirks that make you lose interest instantly. Some are harmless, while others can completely change how you see someone.

But as lighthearted as those preferences can be, researchers say there’s something far more serious driving people apart in relationships today, and it has nothing to do with appearance or mannerisms.

According to a new paper published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, political compatibility may now be one of the biggest deciding factors in whether women choose to date or stay single.

  • Selena Gomez’s Kidney Donor Francia Raisa Breaks

Francia Raisa has finally addressed ongoing speculation that she and Selena Gomez are no longer friends, after fans noticed she wasn’t at the singer’s wedding.

At the time, the revelation shocked her fans, but it also inspired many when Gomez revealed that Raisa, her close friend and fellow actress, had volunteered to be her kidney donor.

Gomez publicly thanked Raisa in an emotional Instagram post, expressing deep gratitude toward her, her medical team, and her fans who supported her through recovery.

  • Maria Corina Machado Wins 2025 Nobel Peace Prize

The recipient of the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize has been named, just months after Donald Trump publicly declared that he should be the one to receive it.

Trump has spoken about the prestigious award numerous times over the past few years, often returning to the topic during rallies and interviews. He also mentioned it several times during his first presidency, and speculation around his possible nomination has only intensified during his second term — mostly fueled by Trump himself.

While meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House back in February, the Republican president remarked: “They will never give me a Nobel Peace Prize. I deserve it, but they will never give it to me.”

Trump has repeatedly claimed credit for helping end or prevent several conflicts worldwide, suggesting that his diplomatic efforts have contributed to global stability.

  • US Air Force Confirms FBI Probe Into Strange Crash

A new mystery appears to be unfolding just miles from the edge of Area 51, after officials confirmed a recent incident near the highly restricted site.

Area 51 has long held a place in pop culture as one of the most secretive military bases in the world. For decades, the U.S. government refused to even acknowledge its existence until the early 2010s, fueling endless speculation about what really goes on there.

Many believe the facility hides evidence of extraterrestrial life or reverse-engineered alien technology, while others think it’s simply where advanced aircraft are tested far from public view. Either way, the base remains surrounded by mystery — and this latest event has only added to it.

Despite the myths and rumors, what’s publicly known is that Area 51 serves as a U.S. Air Force testing ground for classified aviation projects. Even so, sightings of unidentified flying objects near the area have continued to spark curiosity and conspiracy theories for years.

  • Sugar Baby Earning Thousands Each Month Reveals The Rules Men

A British woman who now makes a comfortable living through her sugar baby lifestyle has shared the strict boundaries her male clients must follow if they want to keep seeing her.

She explains that it gives her complete control over her time and income, describing herself as ‘basically self-employed’ — choosing who she works with, when she meets them, and how much she charges.

The 36-year-old lives aboard a narrowboat in Bristol, UK, and runs an online blog where she writes openly about her work in the sex industry. She often shares stories about luxury holidays, fine dining, and the expensive gifts she receives from her clients.

“I eat a lot and drink a lot. I am always been taken out for something to eat or something to drink – so not so good for the waist line,” Connie joked during an interview.
